If you’ve completed one of the online courses that offer a LabsLand certificate, congratulations! As part of your achievement, you’ve earned a LabsLand certificate that reflects not only your participation, but also your hands-on work with real microcontroller hardware. Unlike standard course completions, this certificate highlights practical experience. This can be especially valuable to showcase skills beyond just theoretical knowledge.
In this post we’ll explain how to share your certificate on LinkedIn and how you can make sure that it’s properly linked and visible, and that it can be easily verified.
Where to Find Your Certificate
LabsLand will typically issue two versions of the certificate:
- A PDF main file: The official certificate file. Ideal for formal sharing and for verification.
- An image version: Appropriate for social media posts like LinkedIn or Instagram.
We will provide you with public, permanent URLs to both files. You can, of course, download and share your own copies. Though we recommend that you share these links directly since their presence in the official LabsLand domain (https://labsland.com) can be used by others to easily verify their authenticity.
The links are public and permanent.
Use the PDF When Possible
The PDF is the official certificate and the most complete version. It is designed to be shared in formal contexts such as LinkedIn, CVs and job applications. Though for just showing visual proof (e.g., in social media) the image version is also provided.
How to Add Your Certificate to Your LinkedIn Profile
We recommend that you list your LabsLand certificate under “Licenses & Certifications” on LinkedIn. To do this, you should:
- Go to your LinkedIn profile and scroll to “Licenses & Certifications”. If you don’t find that section you might have to click on “Add profile section” first, and then add the “Licenses & Certifications” section.
- Click “Add”.
- Fill in the fields as follows:
- Name: The name of the course you have completed, which should also be in the certificate. E.g., “Microcontrollers & IoT: Learn with Real Online Hardware”.
- Issuing organization: LabsLand
- Issue date: The date you completed the course. You can put the year only if you want.
- Expiration date: Leave it as-is, the certificate is permanent.
- Credential URL: The URL to the PDF file with the certificate, which we should have provided you with. E.g., “https://labsland.com/pub/certificates/stm32/stm32-luis-rodriguez-gil.pdf”.
- We also recommend that you add “Media”:
- Download the image version of your certificate. The URL should again should have been provided to you. E.g., “https://labsland.com/pub/certificates/stm32/stm32-luis-rodriguez-gil.png”.
- Click “Add Media”.
- Choose “Add Media” again to upload a picture.
- Upload the image with your certificate.
- Set a text to go with it that explains what the certificate is. We will typically have sent you a description along with the certificate, but feel free to use your own.
When you finish adding the certificate, LinkedIn will also suggest that you write a post to share your accomplishment with your contacts. We also encourage you to do so, though you can also skip it if you prefer, or to write the post later.
Once you’ve added the certificate and uploaded the image, LinkedIn will show it nicely in your Licenses & Certifications section — with the certificate thumbnail and your short description underneath.
It’s a clean and tidy way to show what you’ve done, and it looks great on your profile.

Can I use these links?
Yes. We host certificates on our official domain and consider them long-term and verifiable records of achievement.
You’re free to use your PDF or image link anywhere — LinkedIn, CVs, professional profiles. The link will stay valid and is officially hosted by LabsLand. Those who check it will thus ee a genuine, tamper-proof credential.
Still, we recommend that you download your own copy of the files for safekeeping and as a backup.
Can’t locate the certificate or have any question or problem?
If you think you should have received a certificate but have not, or if you have any other question, feel free to contact us! Just write us at support@labsland.com. Please explain your context and situation so that we might help you in the most effective way.
Want to earn your own certificate?
As of now, we provide a single course that offers a LabsLand certificate of this kind. The course is titled “Microcontrollers & IoT: Learn with Real Online Hardware”. It is hosted on Udemy and introduces you to microcontrollers, and specifically to STM32 WB55RG devices, in a hands-on practical way. You can explore the course here.
